What the bloody morning
Blood is red, roses is red too. Bloody means red and roses is red in colour. If Swans is red and white in colour. So thy are really bloody red or roses in colour this morning. [if you’re think that Im cursing, I’ll say you’re roses. Really red rose]
Whatever it is, this year I missed the game again… What the sad day story mate… and now Im realised that I really2 missed something over there or maybe not some but all of it…

The morning after - a sea of red

IT was early for a premiership. The Swans were in South Melbourne on schedule at 9am, which must have felt like daybreak to some.
Drinking, blinking, stumbling, mumbling. Red-and-white T-shirts, red-and-white eyes. Red-and-white is the colour of dawn; this one was 72 years in breaking.
The heroes of an epic grand final were greeted by a crowd estimated by police at 10,000, gathered on the Lindsay Hasset Oval, home to South Melbourne District, who are also the Swans and also sing the Swans’ song. Some old South Melbourne jumpers, some old South Melbourne folk, plenty of old South Melbourne sentiment. “About bloody time,” read one giant banner.
Suddenly, a little girl ghosted through the barricades. Escorted by a kindly security guard, she tapped Barry Hall on the shoulder and shyly presented him with a single blood-red rose.
She was Ryan Vidler, she was six, and she had picked it on the way from Hoppers Crossing. “She just loves Barry Hall,” said Amanda, her mother. Amanda is a Carlton supporter, but her father, Ryan’s grandfather, is a South man.
